The Voice Season 30 has barely begun, but viewers are already making their opinions known. Just three nights into the Blind Auditions, two singers have reached a major milestone on the show’s official TikTok account, with each of their audition videos surpassing 1 million likes.
The two performers are BigCountry and 14-year-old Brooklyn Marie, who have quickly attracted attention for very different reasons. Their performances stood out not only to the coaches but also to viewers watching the auditions online.
BigCountry was one of the first artists to take the Season 30 stage. The 37-year-old Tacoma, Washington, singer delivered a soulful performance of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ “I Put a Spell on You,” immediately grabbing the attention of the coaching panel.
His audition earned chair turns from Adam Levine, Queen Latifah and Riley Green, while Kelly Clarkson ultimately remained in her chair.
The performance quickly became one of the memorable moments from the opening night. Viewers reacted strongly to BigCountry’s distinctive voice and stage presence, with many praising the way he brought his own personality to the song.
But there was more to BigCountry than one performance.
During his conversation with the coaches, he explained that although he was raised around country music, he enjoys performing across different genres. Riley Green connected with that description, recognizing the country influence behind BigCountry’s soulful sound.
When the time came to choose a coach, BigCountry selected Queen Latifah, making him the first artist on Team Queen this season.
Then another standout arrived.
Brooklyn Marie, a 14-year-old singer from Alexandria, Minnesota, took the stage with a guitar and delivered an emotional performance of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Traitor.”
Her age immediately became part of the conversation, but her performance gave the coaches plenty more to talk about. Queen Latifah and Kelly Clarkson both turned their chairs for the young singer.
Adam Levine later admitted that he wished he had turned as well, praising the teenager’s musical ability after hearing her performance.
Queen Latifah was especially surprised when she discovered Brooklyn was only 14 years old. She praised the young singer’s ability to connect emotionally with the song despite her age.
Kelly Clarkson then made her own pitch, highlighting her experience as both a former singing-competition winner and a coach who has worked with young performers.
In the end, Brooklyn chose Team Kelly, giving Clarkson another young artist to develop as the competition continues.
Now both singers have something else in common: their official Blind Audition videos have each passed the 1 million-like mark on The Voice’s official NBC TikTok account.
That milestone comes remarkably early. With only the first three nights of Season 30’s premiere completed, there is still a long way to go before the Live Shows and the eventual finale.
It is also important to remember that social-media attention at this stage does not determine who will win the season. Still, the response gives viewers an early glimpse at which performances are generating strong reactions online.
And with the Blind Auditions continuing, BigCountry and Brooklyn Marie are already two names that viewers have plenty of reason to remember.
The bigger question now is whether these early fan favorites can maintain that momentum as Season 30 moves deeper into the competition.
