Bunnie XO didn’t hold back. In a moment now going viral across TikTok and Instagram, the Dumb Blonde Podcast host lit into online trolls who dared to body-shame her husband Jelly Roll and his 15-year-old daughter, Bailee Ann. Her voice trembling with rage but grounded in truth, Bunnie delivered a fiery rebuke that has struck a national nerve: “You don’t kick somebody when they’re down. I’m done staying quiet.”

The outburst came after a cruel comment on one of her posts asked, “Why is her husband and stepdaughter family massively overweight? Weird podcast, she’s enables them.” That was the last straw. Bunnie XO responded with a TikTok video that’s now been viewed millions of times. “It’s absolutely insane to me how dense some people in the human population can be,” she said. “You think this is about weight? No—this is about humanity.”

She went on to explain that body size and eating disorders are deeply personal, painful battles—and far more complex than lazy stereotypes. “People with anorexia, people with bulimia—these are all eating disorders, just different spectrums,” she explained. “And just like you’d give grace to a drug addict in your family, you need to give grace to people struggling with food.”

But Bunnie didn’t stop there. She made it clear that loving someone doesn’t mean enabling them—it means supporting them. “I never force Jelly to do anything,” she said. “I suggest, I invite, I encourage. But more than anything, I love him at every size. Every phase. That’s not enabling. That’s commitment.”

In her message, she revealed Jelly Roll is doing the work, battling demons most people never see. “He knows what he has to do. He fights his demons daily. He eats healthier than most people do—but he also carries trauma, genetics, and years of emotional eating. You don’t get to reduce him to a number on a scale.”

And when it came to the most vile part of the comment—body-shaming her underage stepdaughter—Bunnie unleashed righteous fury. “To come on my page and say something about my underage daughter’s body? That tells me everything I need to know about what kind of person you are. I hope you have the life you deserve.”

Jelly Roll himself has long been open about his struggles. In a 2018 Instagram post, he wrote: “I’ve been obese since I was a child. I’m f**ing miserable. I want to skydive, ride roller coasters, LIVE a normal life.”* Since then, he’s fought addiction, embraced therapy, and even lost 23 pounds in just two weeks during a 2023 health push.

What Bunnie XO reminded the world this week is that love isn’t measured in pounds—it’s measured in grace, patience, and truth. “You don’t shame someone into healing,” she said. “You love them there.” And in one blistering, beautiful rant, she didn’t just defend her family. She gave a voice to everyone who’s ever been judged for their size—and fought like hell to rise anyway.
