Josh Groban and Kelly Clarkson Weave a Heavenly Duet from The Phantom of the Opera

Lo, upon a night of song and wonder, two voices of great renown did entwine, and the heavens themselves seemed to still in awe. Josh Groban, the minstrel whose tones carry like silver through the halls of memory, did summon forth a vision most rare: a union with the radiant Kelly Clarkson, to breathe life anew into the immortal ballad “All I Ask of You” from the fabled Phantom of the Opera.

This marvel was unveiled at Groban’s grand Stages Live, a gathering broadcast to the multitude by the house of PBS, wherein the singer laid bare his soul’s devotion to the noble art of Broadway. For long had Groban cherished these sacred melodies, dreaming since his youth to give them voice. “Theater hath ever held my heart,” he proclaimed, “and these songs have called to me since the days of my schooling.”

Yet for the role of Christine, a partner of rare brilliance was required. Thus entered Kelly Clarkson, her voice a beacon of fire and light. Together they wrought a harmony both tender and mighty, a weaving of tones so pure that time itself seemed to pause.

Their duet did not merely echo upon the stage; it soared beyond the bounds of theater, touching that eternal place where music and spirit become one.
