Sharon Osbourne Shares Ozzy’s Final Words: “He Said Something I’ll Carry Forever”

Sharon Osbourne has spoken publicly for the first time since the passing of her husband, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, who died at 76. In between responding to heartfelt tributes on social media — including one from Gavin Rossdale, who fondly remembered Ozzy’s warmth and humor — Sharon revealed the final words her husband spoke to her:

“He said something so simple… so powerful — I’ll carry it with me forever.”

In a family statement announcing his death, they shared:

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love…”.

After years of on-stage antics and a candid life in the spotlight — from biting the head off a bat to becoming television royalty with The Osbournes — Ozzy said farewell on his own terms. His last public appearance came when he reunited with his original Black Sabbath bandmates at the Back to the Beginning concert, where he emotionally told fans:

“You’ve no idea how I feel — thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

This final show was always meant to be just that — his last bow, due to his decades-long battle with Parkinson’s.

🕊️ A Legacy Both Wild and Tender

Ozzy’s journey from Birmingham schoolboy to the Godfather of heavy metal was defined by both chaos and sincerity. From Paranoid and Iron Man to reality TV stardom, his life was remarkable in every way — and now it’s left an indelible mark on music history.

As fans worldwide continue weaving stories and memories, one message stands clear: the legend lives on, and Sharon’s final takeaway is both powerful and deeply personal.
