Kelly Clarkson is heading back to the live stage in a major way. Just days before returning to television for “The Voice” Season 30, the singer revealed that she will be part of the 2027 Stagecoach Music Festival lineup.
Clarkson is scheduled to perform at Stagecoach in Indio, California, on Sunday, April 25, 2027. She announced the news on September 14 while sharing the festival lineup with her fans.
The announcement is especially exciting because it gives fans another major opportunity to see Clarkson perform live following the end of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” Her daytime talk show concluded its seven-season run in August 2026.
Clarkson previously explained that stepping away from the demanding daily talk-show schedule would allow her to spend more time with her children. However, she also made it clear that leaving daytime television did not mean she was walking away from music or performing.
Her Stagecoach appearance provides another glimpse at what that next chapter could look like. Rather than maintaining the schedule of a daily television host, Clarkson now has more flexibility to pursue music, live performances and selected television projects.
Interestingly, Clarkson will not be the only “Voice” Season 30 Coach appearing at Stagecoach. Country singer Riley Green, who joins the coaching panel for the first time this season, is scheduled to perform at the festival on Friday, April 23.
Fans reacted enthusiastically when Clarkson revealed her Stagecoach appearance. Some were particularly excited about seeing her at a festival strongly associated with country music, a genre Clarkson has frequently explored throughout her career.
Others were surprised that Clarkson was not listed as one of the festival’s main headliners. Her powerful voice, long list of hits and history of performing across pop, rock and country led some fans to argue that she deserved a more prominent position on the lineup.
The festival appearance comes during another active period in Clarkson’s music career. Earlier this summer, she released the single “I’d Be Lyin’,” continuing to remind audiences that recording and performing remain important parts of her plans after leaving daytime television.
Before Stagecoach arrives, however, Clarkson has another major television commitment. She is returning to her familiar red chair for the milestone 30th season of “The Voice,” which premieres September 21.
Clarkson will coach alongside Adam Levine, Queen Latifah and Riley Green. Her return gives Season 30 two highly experienced former winning Coaches in Clarkson and Levine, while Latifah and Green bring completely new personalities to the competition.
With “The Voice” returning, new music already released and a major Stagecoach performance now scheduled for April 2027, Clarkson’s post-talk-show career is quickly taking shape. Ending her daily daytime series may have closed an important chapter, but her latest announcement shows that she has no intention of disappearing from the stage or from fans’ screens.
