SWEET FAMILY UPDATE — Scotty and Gabi McCreery Share Adorable Ollie Milestone During a Huge Year for the Country Star

Scotty McCreery and his wife Gabi have shared a heartwarming new glimpse into family life as their youngest son reaches a very special milestone.

The couple recently celebrated Oliver “Ollie” Cooke McCreery’s first birthday, marking an entire year since their family of three became a family of four.

Ollie was born on September 18, 2025, joining older brother Merrick “Avery” McCreery, who was born in October 2022.

Gabi shared a collection of photos from Ollie’s birthday celebration on October 8, giving fans an intimate look at the McCreery family’s special day.

The party featured an adorable If You Give a Mouse a Cookie theme, with decorations and a birthday cake inspired by the beloved children’s story.

But some of the sweetest moments had nothing to do with the decorations.

One photo captured Ollie after getting into his birthday cake while making a funny expression toward his big brother Avery.

Other pictures showed the two brothers together and included throwback snapshots from Ollie’s first year.

Gabi summed up the milestone with a simple emotional message.

She said they had celebrated their “sweet Ollie” the previous month and expressed gratitude for the joy he has brought into their lives during his first year.

It was another rare family update from Scotty and Gabi, who largely raise their boys away from the Nashville spotlight in North Carolina.

Scotty has previously described Ollie as a happy and rapidly growing baby.

Earlier this summer, he revealed that at only nine months old, Ollie was already wearing clothing designed for 18-month-olds.

“He’s been such a little cutie,” Scotty said while sharing an update on his youngest son.

Fatherhood has also begun influencing the way Scotty thinks about his career.

As Avery and Ollie grow older, the country singer has acknowledged that he expects there will eventually be school events, sports and other family moments he won’t want to miss.

He has suggested that could mean traveling less frequently in the future, although he hasn’t indicated that retirement is anywhere close.

The family milestone arrives during an equally meaningful year professionally.

2026 marks 15 years since Scotty won Season 10 of American Idol and launched the country career that followed.

He commemorated the anniversary in July by releasing 15, a retrospective collection featuring major songs from his career along with four new recordings.

The milestone carries particular significance because Scotty was only 17 when he won American Idol in 2011.

Since then, he has built a career that includes millions of albums sold, multiple No. 1 country hits and induction into the Grand Ole Opry in 2024.

His recent success has continued as well.

Scotty’s “Bottle Rockets,” featuring Hootie & The Blowfish, became his seventh No. 1 country-radio hit, adding another achievement to an already celebratory period in his career.

Yet the latest update from the McCreery household shows that some of the biggest milestones aren’t happening onstage.

Fifteen years after viewers first watched a teenage Scotty chase his musical dream on American Idol, his life now looks very different.

There are albums, tours and No. 1 records.

But there are also birthday cakes, family photos and two young boys growing up at home.

And judging by Gabi’s message celebrating Ollie’s first year, the youngest McCreery may have given the family one of its sweetest milestones yet.
