The 60th Annual CMA Awards Reveals Star-Studded Performer Lineup as Lainey Wilson Returns to Host Country Music’s Biggest Celebration

The 60th Annual CMA Awards is preparing for a major celebration as country music’s biggest stars come together for an unforgettable evening in Nashville. On November 5, the first round of performers was officially announced, revealing a lineup featuring some of the industry’s most recognizable names alongside rising talents. With Lainey Wilson returning as host, the milestone ceremony promises to celebrate six decades of country music history while recognizing the artists shaping its future.

The first performers confirmed for the November 18 ceremony include Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves, The Red Clay Strays, Zach Top, and Tucker Wetmore. The announcement brings together established award-winning musicians and newer performers who have enjoyed significant success in recent years. Additional performers and presenters are expected to be announced as the event approaches.

Lainey Wilson will lead the ceremony for the third consecutive year, marking her second straight year as the show’s solo host. The Louisiana native previously shared hosting duties with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning in 2024 before taking over the role independently in 2025. Her return comes as the awards celebrate their 60th anniversary, making this year’s event especially meaningful for the country music community.

Among the announced performers, Ella Langley enters the ceremony with considerable momentum. The rising country star leads all nominees with nine nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, and Female Vocalist of the Year. She also earned multiple nominations in the Single of the Year and Song of the Year categories, placing her among the most closely watched artists heading into the ceremony.

Miranda Lambert is another major name returning to the CMA Awards stage. The country superstar has earned seven nominations this year, bringing her career total to an impressive 70. That achievement makes her the most-nominated female artist in CMA Awards history. Her nominations include Female Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year, and recognition for several musical collaborations, reinforcing her continued influence on the genre.

Tim McGraw will also take the stage during the anniversary celebration. The longtime country music star, who was recently inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, has accumulated 40 career CMA Awards nominations. His appearance adds another historic element to the ceremony, connecting the genre’s established legends with the emerging performers who will share the spotlight throughout the evening.

Cody Johnson and Kacey Musgraves are also preparing for important appearances. Johnson, the reigning Male Vocalist of the Year, has received four nominations, including Entertainer of the Year. Musgraves earned five nominations across several categories, including Album of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year. Both performers have established distinctive musical identities, and their participation adds further variety to the anticipated broadcast.

The lineup also includes The Red Clay Strays, Zach Top, and Tucker Wetmore, representing different directions within contemporary country music. The Red Clay Strays return after winning Vocal Group of the Year in 2025, while Top, last year’s New Artist of the Year winner, is nominated for Male Vocalist and Album of the Year. Wetmore is competing for New Artist of the Year, giving him another opportunity to gain recognition during one of the industry’s most prominent events.

Beyond the competitive awards and live performances, the 60th anniversary celebration will feature a special tribute honoring Dolly Parton. The tribute will recognize her extraordinary contributions to country music and her lasting influence across entertainment. Specific performers and songs for the tribute have not yet been revealed, leaving another anticipated announcement for the weeks leading up to the ceremony.

The 60th Annual CMA Awards will broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 18, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern Time on ABC and Disney+. The ceremony will also be available to stream the following day on Hulu. With Lainey Wilson returning as host, a star-studded performance lineup, and a special tribute to Dolly Parton, this year’s celebration is shaping up to be a significant milestone in the history of country music’s longest-running annual television awards program.
