As the grand winner of American Idol Season 23, Roberts is set to receive a $250,000 cash prize. He and runner-up John Foster also earned a trip for four aboard the Disney Wish cruise line.
While the money hasn’t hit his account yet, Roberts already knows what he wants to do with it — and it’s not what you might expect. “I don’t have any big splurges in mind,” he said. “I’m going to put it in the bank.”
