Jamal’s Dream Comes True

Roberts had been teasing “huge” news for weeks, dropping hints on Facebook Live about a tour “people won’t believe.” Now we know why. The pairing of gospel heart and R&B royalty is not only a win for Roberts but a meaningful full-circle moment in Black music culture.

“The schedule’s about to get hectic, y’all,” he said on June 22. “And I cannot wait to announce this tour. I can’t say nothing else.”

Fans erupted online when the news broke. One comment summed up the mood perfectly: “From Sunday service to superstardom—he deserves every second.”

Upcoming Appearances Before the Tour

Before hitting the big arenas, Roberts has a full slate of appearances. He’ll headline Florida’s Black Excellence Main Event on June 28, then perform at the Before the Fireworks show on July 3 in Memphis, Arkansas.

On August 15, he’ll take the stage at City Winery in Nashville—a show that sold out in under 24 hours. He’s also set to appear at SpiritFest in Greenville, South Carolina, on August 31.

And in between? He’s heading back to Los Angeles to work on his debut album, expected to blend gospel, R&B, and southern soul in a way that only Jamal Roberts can.

Jamal’s voice is big—but his heart might be even bigger. This tour isn’t just another gig. It’s a declaration: a young man from Mississippi is now standing shoulder to shoulder with legends, ready to leave his own mark on the world stage.
