Luke Bryan’s 18-year-old son, Bo Bryan, is beginning to attract serious attention of his own — not in country music, but on the football field. The Battle Ground Academy quarterback has received another college scholarship offer following an impressive start to his senior season.
On August 31, Bo revealed that Tennessee Tech had offered him an opportunity to play college football. The latest offer adds another school to a growing list of programs interested in the Class of 2027 quarterback.
Bo already had offers from Austin Peay, Eastern Kentucky, East Tennessee State, North Alabama and UT Martin. He has not publicly indicated which program currently leads his recruitment or where he expects to play after graduating.
The new interest comes after Bo delivered two impressive performances to begin Battle Ground Academy’s season, finally getting his opportunity as the team’s starting quarterback after spending previous seasons waiting behind an accomplished starter.
His first varsity start came on August 22 against St. Michael Catholic of Alabama in a nationally televised matchup. Bo completed 16 of 21 passes for 375 yards and three touchdowns, helping Battle Ground Academy earn a convincing 41-18 victory.
His father was watching from the stands. Luke described seeing his son start at quarterback as a dream come true and joked that all of his cheering might leave his voice a little rough for the concert he had scheduled later that evening.
If that performance wasn’t enough to attract attention, Bo followed it with an even more efficient outing against Columbia Academy on August 28.
This time, Bo completed all nine of his passes, finishing with 196 yards and an incredible five touchdown passes as Battle Ground Academy dominated the game 62-0. Through his first two starts, he had completed 25 of 30 passes for 576 yards and eight touchdowns.
Those numbers are particularly impressive considering how patiently Bo had waited for his opportunity. He spent the previous two seasons backing up Kaedyn Marable, who helped lead Battle Ground Academy to a state championship before moving on to college football.
Now that the starting job belongs to Bo, he is quickly demonstrating why college programs had already begun monitoring him even before his senior season started.
The attention also puts the Bryan family in an unusual position. Luke and his wife Caroline both attended Georgia Southern University, while their oldest son could now begin his own college journey at any one of several schools recruiting him.
Bo still has plenty of football left to play before making that decision, and additional offers could arrive if his early-season production continues.
For years, fans have known Bo primarily as Luke Bryan’s son. But after two dominant performances and another scholarship offer arriving before September had even begun, the 18-year-old quarterback is starting to build a name that has very little to do with what happens on a country music stage.
