Gwen Stefani is giving fans a glimpse into her home life on the Oklahoma ranch with her husband Blake Shelton and her children. On Thursday, May 4, she shared a 28-second video on social media capturing a day of farming. In the clip, Gwen appears in full glam while her kids and Blake wear camouflage gear, working together in the fields to prepare the land for planting a variety of seeds, including Double Click Snow Puff Cosmos, Tall Teddy Bear Sunflowers, Strawberry Blonde Sunflowers, and Buttercream Sunflowers.
The video, soundtracked by Weezer’s “Island in the Sun,” highlights moments of laughter, teamwork, and bonding as the family plants seeds for the spring and summer seasons. Gwen captioned it, “Island in the (country) sun with the fam ☀️🌷 gx.”
In April 2023, Gwen also posted a video of her and Blake mushroom hunting with the kids. As they walked through the woods, they came across a surprising amount of mushrooms. Gwen, clearly shocked, exclaimed, “Oh my gosh, Blake! They’re everywhere,” while Blake joked, “You better Instagram this.” Their lighthearted banter showed a fun and spontaneous side to their relationship as they enjoyed the simple pleasures of life in nature.
Earlier in the year, Gwen offered another peek into life at home with a video shot on Shelton’s Ten Point Ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The 30-second clip, set to Lizzy McAlpine’s “Ceilings,” shows Gwen walking toward a truck, hopping in beside Blake, and driving around their vast 1,300-acre property.
The video captures candid moments like Gwen jogging near a riverbank, laughing, and flashing a peace sign after nearly tripping over her boots. It ends with sweet selfies of the couple, including one of Blake hugging Gwen from behind, giving fans an intimate look at their everyday life together.
With his tour wrapped and his final season of The Voice underway, Blake appears to be spending more time at home. He has spoken about stepping back from work to prioritize family. “Gwen and I have done so much traveling and touring and work the first half of our lives that now we’re like, ‘Hey. I’m good to put my sweatpants on at 6 p.m. and watch Ozark eight times,’” he told PEOPLE. He also opened up about wanting to be present for his stepchildren, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, whom Gwen shares with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
“If I walked away from my career at this time, the only thing that I run the risk of is having regrets that I’m missing out on some more important things in life. For now, that’s our kids. This isn’t about me anymore and never will be again,” he said.
This summer, Gwen and Blake will celebrate their second wedding anniversary. The couple tied the knot on July 3, 2021, during an intimate ceremony officiated by Carson Daly on Shelton’s ranch. Their chapel wedding came after six years together, following their first meeting in 2014 as coaches on NBC’s The Voice. They began dating in November 2015 after going through public breakups, and got engaged in October 2020 in Shelton’s hometown in Oklahoma.
