ROBERT IRWIN SET TO HOST NEW ‘DANCING WITH THE STARS’ SPIN-OFF SERIES

Robert Irwin is taking on a major new role in television as he has officially been confirmed as the host of a brand-new Dancing with the Stars spin-off, Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro.

The announcement marks a significant career move for the 22-year-old wildlife conservationist, who recently captured widespread attention after winning the mirror-ball trophy on Dancing with the Stars Season 34.

Irwin’s victory alongside professional partner Witney Carson helped introduce him to a broader entertainment audience, showcasing not only his charisma but also his growing confidence in front of viewers.

Now, instead of competing on the dance floor, he will guide a new generation of performers as they battle for a place in the Dancing with the Stars franchise.

The upcoming series, set to premiere this summer, will feature 12 dancers competing for the opportunity to secure a professional spot on Dancing with the Stars Season 35, which is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2026.

According to the announcement, the competition will premiere on July 13 at 8 p.m. EDT/PDT on ABC, with episodes becoming available for streaming the following day on Hulu.

The judging panel will include familiar names in the ballroom world, including current DWTS professional and three-time mirror-ball champion Mark Ballas.

Joining him will be Shirley Ballas, widely recognized for her role as head judge on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, adding international dance expertise to the panel.

The series is expected to combine competition, mentorship, and high expectations as dancers work to prove they have what it takes to become the next professional face of the franchise.

With Robert Irwin now stepping into the hosting spotlight, Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro is already generating excitement among fans eager to see how the former champion handles his latest ballroom adventure.
