“American Idol” 2025: The Top 24 Are Official
The competition is heating up. On Monday night, American Idol revealed the 24 contestants moving forward in the race for this season’s crown.
Among those making the cut is 17-year-old Canaan James Hill, an aspiring preacher who stunned the judges with a gospel performance that earned him a coveted platinum ticket. The two other platinum ticket holders this season — Filo and Kolbi Jordan — also advanced to the next round.
Notably, the Top 24 includes some familiar faces and compelling newcomers:
- Country hopeful Baylee Littrell, son of Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell, is working to carve out his own identity in music.
- Fifteen-year-old Mattie Pruitt is the youngest contestant left in the competition.
- Thunderstorm Artis and Victor Solomon, both former The Voice finalists, are back in the spotlight with a shot at the Idol title.
- Canada’s Olivier Bergeron made history as the only Canadian contestant in the Top 24 this season, impressing with a powerful duet of “Radioactive” alongside Cali Morris.
