The Voice Season 30 is off to a major start, with new viewing figures showing that the milestone season has already broken an important record for the long-running singing competition.
The Season 30 premiere drew approximately 7.8 million viewers during its first seven days of availability, combining traditional NBC viewing with streaming consumption on Peacock.
That total represents a 5 percent increase over the seven-day audience for the Season 28 premiere and gives The Voice its biggest opening audience since Season 27 in spring 2025.
But the biggest achievement came from streaming.
During its first three days of availability, the Season 30 premiere became the most-streamed episode in the history of The Voice, while viewing during that window increased 57 percent compared with the previous fall premiere.

NBCUniversal also reported that more than 19 million people watched at least some portion of the premiere across platforms.
The strong opening arrives during a season filled with changes.
Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine returned to the red chairs, while country star Riley Green and Queen Latifah joined the competition as first-time coaches.
Season 30 is also the first season in which The Voice is being simulcast on NBC and Peacock across all time zones during its live-show phase, while new competition features include the First In Button, Cut Week and expanded voting options.
But one of the biggest surprises from the season’s opening episodes has been the reaction to Riley Green.
The country singer entered the show as a completely new coach, yet he immediately began attracting both contestants and viewers.
Kelly Clarkson even joked during the premiere about Riley’s mustache and “Marlboro Man” appeal after watching multiple singers gravitate toward the country star.
Riley’s laid-back personality and humor also quickly became part of the show’s new chemistry.
Early fan reactions repeatedly praised both Riley and Queen Latifah, with some longtime viewers saying the new coaching combination had convinced them to start watching The Voice again.
Riley also scored several important recruiting victories during the Blind Auditions.
Among them was Alabama singer Joe Henley, who chose Team Riley after performing Travis Tritt’s “Anymore” and later joined his new coach for an impromptu performance of “My Way.”
Kelly Clarkson was so impressed with Joe that she later told Riley the 19-year-old could potentially win the competition for him.
Riley has also landed several four-chair-turn contestants, helping make Team Riley one of the most discussed teams of the early season.
Queen Latifah has generated similarly positive attention, with Kelly admitting that the first-time coach was surprisingly effective at convincing contestants to join her team.
The strong chemistry between all four coaches appears to be one reason viewers have responded so positively to the new season.
For a show celebrating its 30th season, setting an all-time streaming record is a significant achievement.
And with the Blind Auditions nearing their conclusion and the Battles approaching, the question now is whether the momentum surrounding the new coaching lineup — especially Riley Green’s unexpectedly popular debut — can continue as the competition becomes more intense.
