Reba McEntire has never been one to slow down — not even on vacation. The country music icon recently set sail on a luxurious cruise through Italy’s Amalfi Coast with her longtime love, actor Rex Linn, and while the views were stunning, it was Reba’s impromptu performances that truly stole the spotlight.
Vacationing in pure style aboard Evrima — the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s 624-foot super yacht — the couple joined an exclusive five-night Celebrity Adventures cruise, sharing the journey with fellow celebrities and generous donors. But in true Reba fashion, even a relaxing getaway turned into an unforgettable show.
One night, beneath the Mediterranean stars, Reba surprised fellow cruise guests by belting out Frankie Valli’s classic “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.” With a tambourine in hand and her unmistakable voice ringing out across the deck, McEntire turned the yacht into her own private concert.
Rex Linn, ever the supportive partner, kept rhythm beside her with his own tambourine, smiling from ear to ear. Another woman joined in the fun down the table, giving the scene a jam session vibe with a dash of Hollywood glam.
But Reba didn’t stop there.
Videos from the trip captured her delivering full-on stage performances aboard the yacht, dazzling in a white blazer and sparkling top as she sang fan favorites like “Can’t Even Get the Blues” and “Back To God.” It was a cruise to remember — not just for the dreamy destinations like Rome, Capri, Amalfi, and Positano, but for the once-in-a-lifetime entertainment, courtesy of a living legend.
The August 18–24 cruise was exclusively chartered for major donors and celebrity guests, with ticket donations ranging from $65,000 to $75,000 per person. The star-studded lineup included Andrea Bocelli, David Foster, Katharine McPhee, Chris Tucker, John Corbett, Evander Holyfield, and more. But even among such elite company, Reba shined brightest.
Her romance with Rex Linn added another layer of sweetness to the trip. The pair first met in 1991 on the set of The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw and reconnected nearly three decades later. Since going public in 2020, they’ve been inseparable. In a 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Reba called Linn “the love of my life,” and their chemistry is undeniable — both offscreen and on.
They’ve taken their partnership to the professional level too, co-starring as a married couple in ABC’s Big Sky: Deadly Trails and the Lifetime movie The Hammer. According to Linn, sharing the screen with Reba is “fun every single day.”
He gushed about her talent and relentless drive, saying, “She doesn’t stop moving. I’m telling you, man, she’s like a great white shark — can’t stop or they’ll die in the water.”
From sold-out arenas to spontaneous serenades at sea, Reba McEntire continues to prove that her star power knows no bounds. And with Rex Linn by her side, whether it’s on stage or sailing the Amalfi Coast, she’s living her best — and most musical — life.
