LOVE STORY — Are Caroline Alexis and Everett Bounds Still Together After Riley Green Was Forced to Split Them Up on ‘The Voice’?

Caroline Alexis and Everett Bounds entered The Voice Season 30 hoping to build music careers.

Neither expected to find a possible relationship along the way.

But after meeting behind the scenes during the Blind Auditions, the two Team Riley country singers developed a connection that eventually became one of the sweetest surprises of the Battle Rounds.

Then Riley Green unknowingly created an awkward problem.

He paired them against each other.

Caroline and Everett revealed their budding romance during the October 12 episode before performing Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn’s classic country duet “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man.”

Their relationship had actually started before Riley made the Battle pairing.

Caroline explained that she and Everett first met backstage around the Blind Auditions.

At that point, they hadn’t talked extensively.

Then Everett surprised her with flowers.

He also included a handwritten note asking her to dinner.

Caroline said she was completely caught off guard by the gesture but thought it was incredibly sweet.

Everett wasn’t exactly hiding his interest either.

He described Caroline as beautiful and admitted she was the type of person he could imagine wanting as a girlfriend.

By the time the Battles arrived, the two had already gone on a couple of dates.

Caroline, however, said she wanted to take things slowly.

She praised Everett for being supportive and uplifting — qualities that became especially useful when the person she was dating suddenly became the person she had to defeat to remain on The Voice.

Riley apparently had no idea what had been developing when he created the matchup.

But their connection made “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man” an almost perfect song choice.

Instead of simply singing beside each other, Caroline and Everett leaned into the playful chemistry of the classic male-female country duet.

Their Battle advisor Carly Pearce helped them prepare the performance, while Riley watched two contestants who suddenly had far more than competition connecting them.

The romance didn’t make Riley’s job any easier.

Only one could automatically move forward.

After hearing both singers, Riley ultimately selected Everett Bounds as the Battle winner.

Riley explained that Everett sounded especially natural performing the energetic traditional-country material and said that was something he wanted to keep on his team.

He also pointed out that Everett had originally been only a one-chair turn but was now showing people how versatile he could be.

That meant Caroline’s Voice journey ended.

But did their relationship end with it?

As of October 13, there is no confirmed public answer.

Neither Caroline nor Everett has announced that they are officially boyfriend and girlfriend, but there also hasn’t been any indication of a breakup.

In fact, the available clues suggest they remain on good terms.

They continue following each other on Instagram and Facebook, and the pair collaborated on a joint Instagram post ahead of their Battle airing.

Caroline also made comments during filming that suggested she was open to continuing the relationship afterward.

She acknowledged that their situation was unusual and joked about Everett telling her she had better keep answering his phone calls after the show.

There is one obvious complication.

Caroline is from Alabama, while Everett comes from California.

If their relationship continued after filming, distance would therefore become part of the equation.

Caroline seemed aware of that reality from the beginning, saying she wanted to see what happened rather than rush into defining their relationship.

For now, Everett’s journey on The Voice continues.

Caroline’s competition is over, but the unusual way they met means she may have left the show with something completely different from what she originally came looking for.

They met backstage.

He brought her flowers.

They went on several dates.

Then Riley Green unknowingly put them against each other in one of the season’s most fitting country duets.

Everett won the Battle.

Whether Caroline and Everett’s love story survives beyond The Voice is still something the couple hasn’t publicly confirmed.

But judging by their continued friendly interaction after filming, Riley Green may have separated them in the competition without necessarily separating them in real life.
